What can this service build?
OutsourcingVN is operated by Netbase JSC, and this page describes Netbase's own service. It covers new products and bounded changes to existing ones, including:
-
New products and MVPs
A first release of a B2B SaaS product, marketplace, portal or internal tool, planned around the smallest release that proves the idea with real users.
-
Web and mobile applications
Customer-facing apps and back-office interfaces built on an API that other channels can reuse.
-
Multi-tenant and SaaS platforms
Tenant isolation, roles, configurable fields and workflows, and the admin tooling to run them.
-
Modernization of a bounded capability
Replacing or upgrading one part of a legacy system, with parity checks and a rollback path rather than a big-bang rewrite.
-
Integration work
Connecting the product to payment, messaging, CRM, ERP or identity systems, with ownership of each connection written down.
-
AI-enabled features inside a product
For example search, recommendations or content moderation, scoped as a milestone with its own evaluation. When the main outcome is an automated process rather than a product, use AI Workflow Automation instead.
Is your release a good fit?
Good fit
- Someone on your side can approve product decisions and accept milestones
- The release can be described in terms of users, tasks and a decision it supports
- Existing systems, data and third-party accounts can be inspected before a scope is fixed
- You want to own the source code and run the product, with or without later support
Another route fits better
- The request is for open-ended staffing with no defined deliverable
- There is no product owner, or decisions depend on people who will not be available
- A fixed commitment is expected before legacy code, data quality or integrations have been examined
- Success depends mainly on results outside delivery control, such as market adoption or sales
If the main gap is missing information, the first step is a short discovery milestone, and the first review says so.
Compare the same brief with your internal team and other suppliers against the same vendor evaluation criteria: who owns product decisions, how milestones are accepted and what handover includes. If a configured product already covers the workflow, weigh a custom build against SaaS first.
What we will ask for at the start
A first review goes faster with the product goal, the main user groups, existing systems and who controls them, any designs, hard constraints such as a launch event, and the person who will accept milestones. Missing items simply become discovery tasks; submit the outcome and current-system constraints as they stand.
What do you receive at the end?
The exact list is agreed in the proposal. A typical engagement delivers:
- a project definition: problem, users, release goal, scope, exclusions, assumptions and risks;
- architecture and technology decisions, recorded with the reason for each;
- UX flows and interface designs for the screens in scope;
- the working release in your repositories and environments, with automated tests at the level agreed;
- deployment notes, environment configuration and an operating runbook;
- a handover pack: documentation, access transfer, open issues and known limitations.
For custom development, the intellectual property created for you belongs to you. Netbase's own productized modules, where a project uses them, are licensed rather than transferred, and the proposal says so up front. Reusing Netbase productized modules can cut development time by up to 60%; whether any module fits your release is decided in discovery.
How the work is done
-
Discovery
Map users, current systems, data, integrations and constraints. Turn the brief into a prioritized scope with written scope boundaries, a risk register and a milestone plan.
-
Architecture and design
Agree the technical approach, interfaces and security boundaries before code is written, so later changes are visible decisions.
-
Incremental build
Deliver in reviewable increments with weekly reviews, so you see working software early and can change priorities with evidence.
-
Release and handover
Verify against acceptance criteria, deploy, document and transfer access. Optional support is scoped separately.
Project teams draw on business analysis, project management, solution architecture, development, QA and UI/UX roles. One Netbase delivery lead owns the plan; the project delivery page describes the governance.
Milestones and acceptance
Each milestone is written down before it starts and contains:
- its purpose and the deliverables it includes and excludes;
- the inputs, access and decisions it needs from you, and by when;
- acceptance criteria and how they will be checked, for example test cases, a demonstration or a review of documents;
- how changes are handled if a dependency or requirement moves.
A milestone is complete when the agreed evidence has been reviewed and you have recorded an acceptance decision, not when code was uploaded. A change that affects scope, time or cost goes through written change control.
Risks we plan for
Inspected in discovery; where it cannot be, the uncertainty is priced into a separate milestone rather than hidden.
Third-party APIs, accounts and sandboxes are listed with an owner and a readiness check.
Handled through written change control, with the impact on milestones stated before work proceeds.
Each milestone names who decides, and the plan shows what waits on that decision.
Netbase JSC holds ISO 27001 certification for information security management, and Netbase JSC holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation; both describe Netbase's own practice, not your product or hosting. Secure code review and version control, role-based access and multi-factor authentication for admin dashboards are standard; NDAs and data processing agreements are available on request.
AI-assisted delivery under human control
Netbase engineers use AI tools, chosen per project from commercial and open-source options, to draft code, generate test cases, review changes and write documentation. They speed up work but do not replace responsibility: every change that ships is reviewed and owned by a named engineer, and AI output is never treated as acceptance evidence on its own. If your project restricts AI tool use, for example because of confidential source code or regulated data, that restriction is written into the project definition and followed.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, for custom development created for you. Any licensed Netbase component is identified in the proposal before you accept it.
Yes. Your engineers, product owner and subject-matter experts can be part of the plan, with responsibilities written into each milestone, or see AI Engineering Enablement to coach them on AI agents instead.
Netbase provides fractional or interim CTO, CIO and Chief Digital or Transformation Officer services, set up over a 3 to 12 month term with written objectives and a handover to a permanent hire. That role can be contracted separately from delivery, and any recommendation of Netbase delivery is disclosed as an interest.
You can run the product yourselves, or agree a separate support or operations scope, without depending on it.
Netbase JSC is headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, and delivery is remote-first, with onsite work scoped when needed. See global delivery for how distributed teams are run.
That follows from scope, integrations and decision speed. The proposal gives a milestone plan with target review dates once discovery has confirmed the scope, not before.
What has Netbase already built this way?
Netbase has built web-to-print platforms since 2012, the year the company was founded, and Netbase has delivered 50+ custom web-to-print platforms across apparel, packaging, signage, promotional merchandise and corporate B2B portals. Six published records show the range:
- 4over4 print commerce conversion: a product recommendation engine and automated conversion of uploaded Illustrator files to editable SVG templates on a live print store; the 4over4 case study reports revenue up 82% within six months, a result for that store only.
- RB Marketplace: an English-first multi-vendor marketplace for West Africa on Laravel, with vendor approval, commission and payouts, and an Android shopping app on the same API, with iOS in the extended scope.
- Deyar bilingual web-to-print platform: Arabic right-to-left and English ordering, an online designer and print-ready PDF proofing for a Riyadh printer; its AI pre-press, ERP and e-invoicing phase was planned, not delivered.
- Dey Page business directory: a Nigerian multi-state directory with field-verified listings on a 12-week web and mobile plan; no public launch is claimed.
- Multi-tenant cloud ERP SaaS platform: phase-one scope for a platform serving small and mid-sized businesses.
- Classifieds platform with AI moderation: a full product build that included an AI moderation feature.

Each record states its own scope and limits; none is a forecast for your release. See every record on the Work page.
