Why these small features matter in print
Most of this work sits at the seams between designer, cart and production file, where a complete designer can still leave production guessing.
- File naming: a print PDF that carries the product key and ordered quantity in its name can be matched to its order by whoever opens the production folder.
- Mixed page sizes: exporting pages of different dimensions into one PDF keeps a multi-part product together as one production file.
- Rulers without bleed: the shopper measures what will arrive after trimming, not the larger sheet the press prints.
- Optional rotation per side: one side can turn while the other stays put, and the option can be left off where rotation makes no sense.
- Sample ordering: a wallpaper buyer can test colour and texture before committing to a full roll. The charge is the client's own store charge, never a Netbase rate.
- Four entry paths: the label site serves a shopper with no design, one who wants to adjust a template, one starting from blank and one arriving with finished artwork.
